Every year in September ISDA, in collaboration with the local school, businesses and civic organizations, holds its annual International Day of Peace (IDOP) in Ajo AZ.
During Ajo’s IDOP celebration, three Sonoran Desert nations (the Tohono O’odham Nation, Mexico and the United States) come together to celebrate our mutual respect for individuals, families and community.
This wonderful celebration would not be possible without generous donors and volunteers like you! Please call Liz Yon at 520-387-3570 or at liz@isdanet.org if you would like to volunteer. We need water station attendants and parade walkers to help guide the parade. Many other volunteer opportunities are available. This is our biggest celebration yet!
