Shona Patel

Shona Patel will discuss her debut novel, “Teatime for the Firefly”, which was published in September 2013.

She was born and raised on a tea plantation in India. She drew upon her personal observations and experiences to create the vivid characters and setting for the book. Her second book, ” Song of the Flame Tree”, will be out in 2015.
