As a 15-year-old, Tag Rittel crawled into a cave on the family’s Montana ranch in 1946 and began a life of adventure and exploration. Various finds have been made over the years by the Montana Archaeological Society and the University of Montana Department of Geology, which unearthed 28 different Ice Age animals one summer.
