Commerce
Mission
Statement
The Ajo District Chamber of Commerce is organized to
promote economic programs designed to strengthen and expand the
income potential of all business within the trade area; to
promote programs of civic, social and cultural nature which are
designed to increase the functional and aesthetic values of the
community; and to discover and to correct abuses which prevent
the promotion of business expansion and community growth.
The Chamber's mission is
threefold:
 | To advance and promote the
economic well-being of Ajo/Pima County. |
| To be a constructive
advocate on public policy issues and to work with all duly
constituted authorities of the Community, County, and State to
build and sustain a positive business climate. |
| To support such other
cultural, educational and civic endeavors as they contribute
importantly to the quality of life within the greater Ajo
community. |
